What you'll achieve
- Navigate AS/NZS 1891.4:2025 and AS 5532:2025 requirements for height safety anchors
- Distinguish structural anchor testing (AS 5216) from height safety anchor testing (AS 1891.4/AS 5532)
- Perform 15 kN and 21 kN proof tests for single-person and two-person fall-arrest systems
- Understand dynamic test requirements per AS 5532:2025 (100 kg x 2 m drop)
- Identify anchor point types: single-point, static lines, davit bases, roof walkways
- Apply state WHS variations including SA 6-monthly and standard 12-monthly inspection cycles
- Prepare SWMS for high-risk anchor work above 2 metres per WHS Regulation 291
- Maintain anchor registers, certification records, and annual re-certification documentation
