Würth WIT-PE 500

The Würth WIT-PE 500 is a pure epoxy injection mortar designed for high-performance structural anchoring. It is styrene-free, offers maximum bond strength, superior creep resistance, and is approved for use in cracked concrete, water-filled holes, and diamond-cored holes.

Concrete (cracked and uncracked)Rock

WIT-PE 500 is specified in applications requiring permanent load capacity, large-diameter rebar connections, and critical infrastructure anchoring. The pure epoxy chemistry provides the lowest creep deformation under sustained tensile load, making it suitable for overhead and permanently loaded connections.

As with all pure epoxy systems, cure time verification is critical before testing. Displacement monitoring during proof loading provides a reliable indicator of whether the epoxy has achieved full cure and bond development.

Key features
Pure epoxy injection mortar, styrene-free
ETA-assessed for cracked concrete and seismic (C1/C2)
Approved for water-filled and diamond-cored holes
Superior creep resistance under permanent loads
Extended working time for large installations
Suitable for post-installed rebar connections
ATA testing notes

How ATA tests Würth WIT-PE 500

WIT-PE 500 testing follows standard pure epoxy protocol: cure time verification, displacement monitoring during proof loading, and attention to load-hold stability. The product performs comparably to other premium epoxy systems when correctly installed and fully cured.
